Place the vehicle on a level surface.
Checking is recommended to be carried out on a viewing ditch, a lift or by lifting the car with a jack and placing it on supports.
Attention! The coolant is toxic, so be careful when handling it.
Attention! When starting the engine, the expansion tank cap must be closed.
Attention! Change the coolant only when the engine is cold.
1. Open the hood and remove the expansion tank cap.
2. Open the heater valve by moving the handle to the extreme right position.
3. Turn away bolts and remove protection of a case.
4. Unscrew the drain plug of the radiator, after substituting a container under it.
5. Place a container under the drain plug of the cylinder block and unscrew the plug. After the liquid has drained completely, wrap the drain plugs on the cylinder block and radiator.
6. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the heating hose from the carburetor fitting.
7. Pour coolant into the expansion tank until it starts to flow out of the carburetor fitting (see photo). Connect the hose and tighten the clamp. Add fluid to normal level.
8. Start the engine and let it idle until the electric fan turns on. Stop the engine and allow it to cool completely to remove air pockets from the system. Check for signs of leakage in the cooling system. Check the fluid level in the reservoir again and top up if necessary.
