Radiator drain plug

When draining the coolant, the vehicle must be on a flat horizontal surface.

Coolant type - Tosol A-40

Caution! Replace the coolant only when the engine is cold.


Warning! Coolant is toxic! Be careful when handling it.


Caution! Before unscrewing the plugs, place containers under the engine and radiator to drain the fluid.


Attention! When starting the engine, the expansion tank cap must be closed!

The fluid level in the tank should be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks.

1. Loosen the crankcase guard mounting bolts and remove it.

2. Open the hood and unscrew the expansion tank cap.

3. Open the heater valve by moving the handle on the instrument panel to the right until it stops.

4. Unscrew the radiator drain plug, having first placed a container underneath it.

5. Unscrew the drain plug of the cylinder block, having first placed a container under it. Wait until the liquid has completely drained, then screw the plugs back in.

6. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the heating hose from the carburetor fitting.

7. Fill the expansion tank with coolant until it starts to flow out of the carburetor fitting. Reinstall the hose and tighten the clamp.

8. Fill the fluid to the required level. Start the engine and let it idle for 2-3 minutes to remove air locks from the cooling system. Check for signs of leakage in the system. Stop the engine, check the level again and add fluid to the tank if necessary.
