1 - pointer (probe) oil level
2 - breather
1 - gearbox
2 - oil drain plug
The oil change interval is every 75,000 km or every 5 years.
Gearbox capacity:
- five-speed - 3.3 l;
- four-stage - 3.0 l.
The manufacturer recommends using oils of brands:
- "REXOL-T" (80W-85; GL-4);
- "OMSKOYL TRANS P" (80W-85; GL-4/5);
- "VOLNEZ TM4" (80W-90; GL-4).
It is recommended to drain the oil immediately after the trip, while the gearbox has not cooled down.
Keep the oil level always close to the upper mark, but it must not exceed the upper mark, otherwise oil may leak from the gearbox. The lower mark indicates the minimum allowable oil level. If the oil level falls below this mark, the gears will not be sufficiently lubricated and the gearbox will quickly fail.
1. Before changing the oil, remove the rubber cap, wash it and clean the hole in the breather with a wire. Then put the cap back in place.
2. Unscrew the oil drain plug, after substituting a container for the drained oil under the gearbox. Drain the oil and replace the oil drain plug.
3. Take out the pointer (probe) oil level.
4. Pour new oil through the dipstick hole using a funnel.
5. Wipe the pointer with a rag and reinstall.
6. Remove the dipstick again and check the oil level in the box. If necessary, add oil to the gearbox up to the upper mark.
7. On older gearboxes (without dipstick) The oil filler neck is above the oil drain plug.
8. Unscrew the plug and pour oil into the gearbox with a syringe up to the lower edge of the oil filler hole.
