Note. The door lock consists of an inner and outer part. In the event of a malfunction of the outer part, it can be replaced without removing the door trim. When replacing or repairing the inside of the lock, the door trim must be removed.
To perform the work requires a crank with a replaceable cross tip.
Removing
1. Remove the inner trim from the back door.
2. Remove the plastic film from the rear door.
3. Using a collar with a replaceable cross tip, unscrew the two screws securing the lock and remove the outer part of the lock.
4. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the screw securing the bracket of the two-arm lever.
5. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the three screws securing the inner handle for opening the door lock.
6. Disconnect from the door body a plastic clamp with an anti-noise foam pad that holds the horizontal locking rod of the lock.
7. Disconnect the wire connectors of the motor-reducer of the central locking electric drive.
8. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the motor-reducer of the lock control.
9. Use a slotted screwdriver to disconnect the plastic tip of the outer door handle from the lock lever.
10. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, unscrew the bolt securing the rear glass guide.
11. Remove the rear glass guide from the door.
12. We remove the inner part of the lock from the door along with the central locking control gear motor.
13. Before removing the lock retainer, mark its position on the middle pillar of the body (marker or marker).
14. Using a collar with a removable cross tip, unscrew the latch pin (1) and two fixing screws (2). We remove the fixer.
Note. Adjusting shims can be installed under the latch. When assembling, they must be installed in place.
Installation
We install the door lock and all previously removed parts on the car in reverse order.
Helpful advice. It is convenient to put plastic tips on the ball pins of the lock levers with sliding pliers.
We install the lock latch according to the marks applied to the rack. If the door doesn't close properly (for example, with a metallic knock or having to slam the door hard to close), adjust the lock.
Adjustment
The rear door lock is adjustable in the same way as the front door lock.
