Note. Power windows can be installed in the rear doors, similar to those installed in the front doors.
Removing
1. Remove the rear door trim.
2. Remove the door lock.
3. Remove the spacer from the power window drive shaft.
4. Putting the power window handle on the shaft of the drive mechanism, lower the glass so that the glass bracket mounting bolts coincide with the opening in the inner door panel. Using a 10 mm socket wrench with an extension, loosen the bolts securing the glass bracket to the window guide. Then, holding the glass, completely unscrew the glass fastening bolts, and then lower the glass down.
5. Rotating the handle, move the movable window guide plate down to the stop. Remove the power window handle from the drive shaft.
6. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, unscrew the three nuts securing the power window drive mechanism (1). Using a 10 mm socket wrench, unscrew the two nuts securing the window guide rail (2).
7. Remove the power window from the door.
Installation
We install the window lifter and all previously removed parts on the car in reverse order.
