Removal
1. Prepare the car for repair work.
2. Remove the wire terminal from the negative terminal of the battery.
3. Remove the trunk lid trim.
4. By squeezing the clamps, disconnect the wire connector from the windshield wiper motor-reducer.

5. Lift the decorative cover.

6. Using a 10 mm wrench, loosen the windshield wiper arm mounting nut. Leave the nut on a few thread turns.

7. Using sliding pliers, loosen the lever fit on the motor-reducer shaft.

8. After unscrewing the nut, remove the windshield wiper arm from the shaft.

9. Using a punch, push two spacer rods for attaching the decorative wiper trim into the door.

Note: The right rod may rest against the gear motor. From inside the trunk lid, the right rod should be pried up with a screwdriver and removed. Do not lose the rods!
10. Remove the cover.

11. Remove the protective cover of the nut.

12. From the outside of the door, use a 24 mm open-end wrench to unscrew the motor-reducer mounting nut.

13. Using a 10 mm socket wrench, unscrew the two nuts securing the gear motor from the inside of the trunk lid.

14. Remove the motor-reducer shaft from the hole in the trunk lid and remove the motor-reducer together with the spacer sleeve and rubber sealing gasket.

15. From the outside of the door, remove the plastic washer and rubber sealing gasket.

Installation
We install the windshield wiper and all previously removed parts in the reverse order.
We drive the spacer rods into the holes of the decorative trim of the wiper on the front side of the door.
