Removal and installation repair of the mounting block (VAZ-2110)

Removal

1. Disconnect the wire terminal from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Open the cover of the mounting block.

3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the screw that secures the cover lock retainer.



4. Holding the cover, lift and turn the unit over. Disconnect five wire harness connectors from it.

Note: There is no need to mark the connectors. Only two connectors have the same dimensions, but they differ in color. There is a red mark on the body of the mounting block indicating where the red connector is connected.

5. Using a slotted screwdriver, press the spring clips and remove the relay connector pads attached to the upper end of the mounting block (without removing the relay from the pads).





6. Remove the mounting block.

7. We carry out the necessary repairs to the assembly block.

8. If repair is not possible, the unit should be replaced.

Installation

We install the mounting block on the car in the reverse order, and connect the red connector to the socket marked with a red mark.
