To carry out repair work, you will need an inspection pit or overpass.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for repair work.
2. Disconnect the wire terminal from the negative terminal of the battery.
3. Remove the engine protection.
4. Disconnect the wire connector from the generator terminal "D".
5. Using a 10 mm wrench, unscrew the nut securing the wire tips to the generator "+" terminal and remove the tips of the two wires from the contact bolt.
6. Remove the generator belt.
7. Using a 10 mm open-end wrench, unscrew the adjusting bolt and remove it from the upper generator bracket.
8. Remove the generator tension bar.
9. Unscrew the nut of the generator lower mounting bolt and remove the spacer sleeve from the bolt. Holding the generator, remove the bolt.
10. Remove and take out the generator from the engine compartment.
Installation
We install the generator on the car in the reverse order.
After installing the generator, adjust the belt tension.
