Removal
1. Prepare the car for repair work.
2. Disconnect the wire terminal from the negative terminal of the battery.
3. Remove the air filter housing.
4. Disconnect the wire connector from the starter traction relay terminal.
5. Using a 13 mm wrench, unscrew the nut securing the starter power cable tip.
6. Using a 15 mm open-end wrench or a socket wrench with an extension, unscrew the two starter mounting nuts (access to the bottom nut is difficult).
7. Remove and take out the starter from the engine compartment.
8. A faulty starter should be replaced.
Installation
We install the starter on the car in the reverse order.

Note: On cars of recent years of production, the starter circuit (between the traction relay and the ignition switch) an additional relay is installed.
