During emergency braking, press the brake pedal as quickly and with maximum effort as possible and hold it without releasing until the end of braking. When changing direction while braking, also do not release the brake pedal.
Warning! Intermittent braking (releasing and re-depressing the brake pedal) on vehicles with ABS, it increases the stopping distance.
Braking with the participation of ABS starts from a speed of more than 8 km/h and is accompanied by a slight pulsation of the brake pedal and a characteristic noise of the ABS actuators. Fire of a control lamp of a condition ABS (with the exception of the self-test mode when the ignition is turned on) indicates a malfunction in the system, the elimination of which must be carried out only on the SSSS. Failure of the ABS does not affect the operation of the hydraulic brake drive. The ABS stops working when the vehicle speed drops below 3 km/h.
To avoid limiting the performance of the ABS, do not install tires of different sizes on the car!
