Muffler suspension cushions — replacement (VAZ-2110)

To perform repair work on replacing the cushion (rubber) of the muffler suspension on a VAZ 2110 car, an inspection pit or overpass is required.

Sequence of work execution

1. We replace the cushion (rubber) of the front suspension of the main muffler in the same way as replacing the suspension cushion of the additional muffler (see items 1-3 "Additional muffler suspension cushions - replacement").



2. Using a mounting blade, remove the rear bracket of the main muffler from its rear suspension cushion.



3. Use pliers to straighten the locking tabs.



4. Remove the cushion from the body bracket.





5. Install a new muffler cushion (rubber) and all removed parts on the VAZ 2110 vehicle in the reverse order of removal.
