To perform repair work on replacing the muffler on a VAZ 2110 car, you will need an inspection pit or overpass.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for repair work (see points 2b and 4 "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").
2. Using a 13 mm deep-head socket wrench, unscrew the nuts of the two clamping bolts of the muffler connecting clamp, holding the bolts with a spanner of the same size.
3. Remove the clamp and take out the sealing ring.
4. Remove the silencer brackets from the airbags (see points 3 and 4 "Muffler suspension cushions - replacement").
5. Remove the muffler from the opening between the bottom of the body and the rear suspension beam.

Installation
We install the muffler and all removed parts on the car in the reverse order of removal. If necessary, we replace damaged or loosened muffler suspension pads.
