Removing
1. We prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the air filter (see "Air filter - removal and installation").
3. On engines 2111 and 21114 cut the clamp securing the throttle cable to the body of the engine radiator fan.
4. Disconnect the electric fan wiring harness pads.
5. socket wrench by 10 mm with an extension, unscrew the two nuts securing the electric fan on the left side (The photo shows the battery removed)...
... and two nuts for the upper mounting of the electric fan.
6. Ring wrench by 10 mm unscrew the nut of the lower fastening of the electric fan.
7. Carefully remove the electric fan from the engine compartment.
Disassembly
1. socket wrench by 10 mm unscrew the three nuts securing the motor to the casing.
2. Prying with a screwdriver, disconnect the wiring harness from the casing. Remove the cover from the electric fan.
3. socket wrench by 13 mm unscrew the central nut of the impeller, holding the impeller with your hand. Remove the impeller from the motor.
Assembly
We assemble the electric fan in the reverse order.
When installing the impeller in its groove...
... the motor shaft pin must engage.
Installation
Install the fan in reverse order.
