Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the air filter (see "Air filter - removal and installation").
3. On engines 2111 and 21114 we cut the clamp that secures the throttle cable to the engine radiator electric fan housing.
4. Disconnect the electric fan wiring harness connectors.
5. With a socket wrench by 10 mm with an extension, unscrew the two nuts securing the electric fan on the left side (in the photo the battery is removed)...
...and two nuts for the upper mounting of the electric fan.
6. With a spanner by 10 mm unscrew the nut of the lower electric fan mount.
7. Carefully remove the electric fan from the engine compartment.
Disassembly
1. With a socket wrench by 10 mm we unscrew the three nuts that secure the electric motor to the casing.

2. Using a screwdriver, disconnect the wiring harness from the casing. Remove the casing from the electric fan.
3. With a socket wrench by 13 mm unscrew the central nut securing the impeller, holding the impeller with your hand. Remove the impeller from the electric motor.
Assembly
We assemble the electric fan in the reverse order.
When installing the impeller in its groove...
... the motor shaft pin must enter.
