Before starting work, remove the air filter (see subsection 3.9).
Clean and flush the crankcase ventilation system components every 30,000 km. When the crankcase ventilation system is clogged, the pressure in the engine crankcase increases, which can cause oil leakage through seals and gaskets.
Cover the carburetor with a plug or a clean rag.
Remove the washers from both cylinder head cover mounting studs.
Unscrew the two nuts securing the cylinder head cover.
Loosen the clamp and remove the small ventilation hose from the cylinder head cover fitting.
Loosen the clamp and remove the ventilation hose from the cylinder head cover pipe.
Loosen the clamp and remove the large ventilation branch hose from the cylinder head cover fitting.
Remove the washers from both cylinder head cover mounting studs.
Move the carburetor air damper rod to the side.
Remove the rubber bushings from both cylinder head cover mounting studs (replace bushings that have lost elasticity, are deformed or torn).
Remove the cylinder head cover.
Remove the three screws securing the oil separator cover from the inside of the cylinder head cover.
Please note that there are flat washers under the screws.
Prying it off with a screwdriver...
...remove the oil separator cover.
Loosen the screw securing the filter element cover.
Carefully pry the cover off with a screwdriver.

Remove the filter element.
Remove the cylinder head cover gasket.
Unscrew the oil filler cap.
Wash all parts thoroughly with detergent and blow out the nozzles on the cover with compressed air.
Disconnect the crankcase gas outlet hose from the carburetor nipple. Carefully clean the nipple with a soft wire.
Check the condition of the cylinder head cover gasket, replace it if necessary. Install all parts in the reverse order of removal.
