Clutch drive adjustment unit: 1 – the lower tip of draft; 2 - locknut; 3 - adjusting nut; 4 - leash retainer; 5 - leash; 6 - clutch release fork
You will need:
- key "on 10" (two)
- ruler
The clutch drive is adjusted by changing the length of the rod, loosening the locknut on the rod tip and unscrewing or tightening the adjusting nut on the rod tip.
The total travel of the clutch pedal should be (110±5) mm.
1. Rest the ruler on the floor mat so that its scale is perpendicular to the plane of the clutch pedal pad. On the top of the pedal pad, make a mark on the ruler scale (or remember this value).
2. Press the clutch pedal all the way down and make a mark on the ruler scale. The difference between these values will be the full travel of the clutch pedal.
3. To adjust the clutch pedal travel, loosen the locknut on the clutch rod end and loosen the locknut a few turns.
4. wrap up (to reduce free play) or turn away (to increase free play) adjusting nut on the tie rod end. Check the clutch pedal travel again. Tighten locknut. If it is not possible to ensure the pedal travel within the specified limits, then you need to look for a malfunction in the clutch mechanism.
