The clutch drive is adjusted by changing the length of the rod, loosening the lock nut on the rod end and unscrewing or tightening the adjusting nut on the rod end.
The full travel of the clutch pedal should be (110±5) mm.
1. Place the ruler on the floor mat so that its scale is perpendicular to the plane of the clutch pedal pad. Make a mark on the ruler scale along the top of the pedal pad (or remember this value).
2. Press the clutch pedal all the way down and make a mark on the ruler scale. The difference between these values will be the full stroke of the clutch pedal.
3. To adjust the clutch pedal travel, loosen the lock nut on the clutch drive rod end and back off the lock nut a few turns.
4. Wrap it up (to reduce free play) or turn away (to increase free play) adjusting nut on the end of the traction rod. Check the clutch pedal travel again. Tighten the lock nut. If you cannot ensure the pedal travel within the specified limits, then you need to look for a fault in the clutch mechanism.
