Remove the gearbox (see subsection 11.1.1.) and clutch release bearing (see subsection 11.2.2.).
Replace the clutch release fork if it is deformed or cracked, or if the fork legs are heavily worn where they contact the bearing sleeve.
1. Carefully pry off the rubber protective cover with a screwdriver...
2....remove it from the clutch release fork.
3. Disengage the retainer from the fork protrusions by pushing out its ends with a screwdriver.
4. Remove the retainer from the fork ball joint.
5. Remove the fork from the hole in the clutch housing.
6. Remove the cable retainer from the old fork and install it on the new fork.
7. Replace broken or loose fasteners.
8. Replace a torn or loose protective cover.
9. Install the fork retainer 1 onto the ball joint 2 and lubricate the joint with consistent grease.

11....secure it with a clamp, making sure that the spherical socket in the fork (shown by arrow) aligned with the ball joint head.
12. Install the protective cover.
