Remove the hoses from the tips of the tank and drain the liquid from the tank into the vessel. Plug hose openings to prevent fluid leakage and dirt from entering hoses. Having unscrewed the clamp fastening nuts, remove the tank.
If the signal lamp does not light up when the liquid level drops, then it is necessary to check the serviceability of the electrical wiring. If the wiring is in good condition, unscrew the cover 9 (see fig. 137) and take out from the tank the housing of the terminal and contact devices assembled with the float and clean the contacts 5 and 6.
Assembly and installation of the tank is carried out in the reverse order.
