Removal
1. Remove the camshafts (see "Camshafts - removal, installation, replacement").
2. When assembling, it is recommended to install the hydraulic compensators in their original places, so we mark their serial number with a marker.
3. Using a magnet, remove the hydraulic compensators from their seats.
4. To prevent dirt from getting inside the hydraulic compensators and causing them to fail, lay them out on a clean sheet of paper.
Installation
We install all removed parts on the car in the reverse order of removal.
Recommendation: Before installation, dip each hydraulic compensator into a container with clean engine oil. Press its valve several times until air bubbles stop escaping to fill its internal cavity with oil.
