After removing the brake drum and unscrewing the nuts securing the brake shield, remove the axle shaft 1 with the puller 2, complete with the oil deflector, the axle shaft bearing mounting plate, the bearing and the locking ring. Remove the brake shield and O-ring. If replacement is necessary, remove the oil seal from the axle beam flange.

Assembly
1. Assemble the rear axle in the reverse order of disassembly. Wherein:
- lubricate the threads of the gearbox mounting bolts with sealant, having previously degreased their threaded holes in the rear axle beam;
- coat the axle bearing oil seal with LITOL-24 grease before installation;
- when installing the stuffing box in the beam flange, use the mandrel A.70157;
- lubricate with graphite grease or LSTs-15 grease the landing belt of the axle shaft flange under the brake drum and the surface of the axle shaft flange in contact with the drum.
2. Install the brake drums after installing the rear axle on the vehicle and attaching the cable ends to the parking brake levers.
