Remove the drive gear and its parts, for which:
- turn the gearbox housing upside down and, holding the drive gear flange with a stopper, unscrew the flange fastening nut with a wrench;
- remove the flange and take out the drive gear with the adjusting ring, the inner ring of the rear bearing and with the spacer, and then take out the stuffing box, the oil deflector and the inner ring of the front bearing;
- press out the outer races of the front and rear bearings using drift A.70198 (pic. 134), remove the spacer sleeve from the gears and, using the universal puller A.40005/1/7 and mandrel A.45008, the inner ring of the rear bearing and the adjusting ring of the drive gear.
Mandrel A.70198 is made of a rod with a diameter of 24 mm, at the end of which a rectangular punch 65 mm long and 10 mm wide is welded. An annular groove with a depth of 3 mm, an outer diameter of 50 mm and an inner diameter of 40 mm is made on the working surface of the punch.
When disassembling the differential:
- remove the inner races of the bearings of the differential box, using the universal puller A.40005/1/6 and the stop A.45028, with a thrust collar diameter of 32 mm;
- unscrew the fastening bolts of the driven gear, knock out the axis of the satellites, turn the gears of the axle shafts and satellites so that the latter can be removed through the windows of the differential box;
- remove the gears of the axle shafts with the support washers.
