Remove the drive gear and its parts, for which:
- turn the gearbox housing upside down and, holding the drive gear flange with a stopper, unscrew the flange mounting nut with a wrench;
- remove the flange and take out the drive gear with the adjusting ring, the inner ring of the rear bearing and the spacer sleeve, and then take out the oil seal, oil deflector and the inner ring of the front bearing;
- press out the outer rings of the front and rear bearings using the A.70198 mandrel (Fig. 134), remove the spacer sleeve from the gears and, using the A.40005/1/7 universal puller and the A.45008 mandrel, remove the inner ring of the rear bearing and the adjusting ring of the drive gear.

The A.70198 mandrel is made from a rod with a diameter of 24 mm, to the end of which a rectangular punch with a length of 65 mm and a width of 10 mm is welded. On the working surface of the punch there is an annular groove with a depth of 3 mm, an outer diameter of 50 mm, and an inner diameter of 40 mm.
When disassembling the differential:
- remove the inner bearing rings of the differential box using the universal puller A.40005/1/6 and the stop A.45028, with a stop belt diameter of 32 mm;
- unscrew the bolts securing the driven gear, knock out the satellite shaft, turn the axle shaft gears and satellites so that the latter can be removed through the differential box windows;
- remove the axle shaft gears with the support washers.
