1. Before removing the engine, it is necessary to remove the pressure in the fuel supply system. To do this, disconnect the fuel pump wiring harness connector from the injection system wiring harness, start the engine, let it run until it stops, and then turn on the starter for 3 seconds to equalize the pressure in the pipelines.
2. Disconnect the wire from the terminal "minus" battery.
3. Remove the air filter by unscrewing the nuts securing it to the central injection unit and to the stud on the cylinder head cover, and disconnecting the hoses from the filter. Disconnect the wires from the injector and close the neck of the central injection unit with a technological plug.
4. Disconnect the fuel supply and drain hoses from the tubes on the engine.
5. Close the openings of the tubes and hoses to prevent dirt from entering them.
6. Disconnect the throttle cable from the central injection unit and from the bracket on the intake pipe.
7. Disconnect from the central injection unit the vacuum hoses going to the adsorber and the absolute pressure sensor, as well as the hose of the crankcase ventilation system.
8. Disconnect wires from all devices of system of injection established on the engine.
9. Further removal of the engine is carried out in the usual manner. The engine is installed in the reverse order of removal. After installation, adjust the accelerator actuator and check the operation of the injection system as indicated in the Central Fuel Injection Repair Manual.
