After the first 2,000 km and then every 30,000 km, check and, if necessary, adjust the free travel of the clutch fork lever (at clutch with servo mechanism), For what:
- loosen nuts 6 and 7 (see fig. 58) and install a wire probe with a diameter of 1.5 mm in the window of the driver 11 so that it is located between the edge B of the driver and the socket of the lever 12 of the clutch fork. Tightening nuts 6 and 7, eliminate the gaps in the clutch release drive. After removing the feeler gauge, check the free play of the lever and, if necessary, repeat the adjustment.
If necessary (upon reaching a full pedal travel of more than 160 mm for a clutch with a backlash-free drive, which has no clearance between the clutch release bearing and the pressure spring petals) adjust the full stroke of the pedal, for which:
- sequentially turning nuts 6 and 7 (turning one, turning the other), set the full pedal travel 125... 130 mm;
- press the clutch pedal all the way to the mat at least three times and check the pedal travel, if necessary, adjust it with nuts 6 and 7;
- without changing the position of the pedal, tighten the nuts to a torque of 1.5... 2 kgf·m.
