1. Loosen the pump cover bolt.
2. Remove the pump cover and strainer.
3. Loosen the six mounting screws and separate the upper and lower pump housings.
4. Press down on the diaphragm and rotate it 90°to either side to disengage the diaphragm rod from the lever.
5. Remove the diaphragm with spring from the lower pump housing.
6. Examine the diaphragm. If defects are found, unscrew the fastening nut on the stem and replace the diaphragm.
7. To replace the valve, press it out after removing the punching. After pressing in the new valve, bolt its seat in four places.
