Before adjustment, check the condition of the trigger diaphragm by unscrewing the four screws and removing the cover. Replace the defective diaphragm.
Starting clearances, mm: | |
| carburetor 21081–1107010: air damper first chamber throttle valve | 2,7 1 |
| carburetor 21083–1107010: air damper first chamber throttle valve | 2,5±0,2 1,1±0,05 |
Note: Starting clearances can be measured with a drill of the appropriate diameter.

1. Turn the air damper drive lever counterclockwise until it stops. The air damper should be completely closed.

2. Press the starting device rod until it stops. The air damper should open slightly by (3.0±0.2) mm (starting air gap for carburetor 2108-1107010).

3. If the air damper starting clearance differs from the specified value, loosen the lock nut and...

4....adjust it with a screw. When you unscrew the screw, the gap increases, and when you screw it in, it decreases.

5. Close the air damper completely. The throttle valve of the first chamber should be slightly open by 0.85 mm (starting clearance of the throttle valve of the first chamber for the carburetor 2108-1107010).

6. If the starting clearance of the first chamber throttle valve differs from the specified one, adjust it with the first chamber throttle valve opening adjustment screw. When you turn the screw out, the starting clearance decreases; when you turn it in, it increases.
