1. Prepare the car for work (see points 1-3 "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the front wheels (see "Wheel - replacement") and install the front part of the car on reliable supports.
3. When checking the brake pads of the left brake mechanism, turn the steering wheel completely to the left, and when checking the brake pads of the right brake mechanism, turn it to the right.
4. Through the inspection hole in the movable bracket of the brake caliper, visually check the thickness of the brake shoe linings.
If the thickness of the lining of at least one brake pad is less than 2 mm, then it is necessary to replace all brake pads of both brake mechanisms of the right and left wheels.
