Removal
1. Remove the engine protection (see "Engine protection - removal and installation").
2. Unscrew the bolt securing the lower suspension rod of the power unit to the crossmember and loosen the nut securing the rod to the engine.
3. Lower the front end of the lower suspension rod of the power unit down.
4. Unscrew the nuts securing the longitudinal extensions to the crossbar and remove the thrust washers (see point 3 above "Front suspension longitudinal strut - removal and installation").
5. Using a 19 mm socket wrench with an extension, unscrew the four bolts (two on each side) fastening the cross member brackets to the body side members.

6. Using a 13 mm socket wrench with an extension, unscrew the two bolts (one on each side) front crossbar mounting brackets and remove the crossbar from the front ends of the longitudinal braces.

Installation
We install the front suspension crossmember and all removed parts on the car in the reverse order of removal.
Warning: The final tightening of the longitudinal strut mounting nuts is only performed after the vehicle has been installed on the wheels.
Warning: After replacing the cross member, wheel alignment must be adjusted at a service center.
