The volume of oil in the engine lubrication system is 3.5 l.
Recommendation: It is better to change the oil on a hot engine for its more complete removal.
Warning: The oil is hot - be careful not to burn your hands!
To complete the work you will need:
- inspection pit or overpass;
- oil filter remover;
- wide container with a capacity of at least 4 liters.
Engine Oil Change Sequence
1. Preparing the vehicle for work (see point 2b "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").
2. Place a container under the engine.
3. Unscrew the oil filler cap.
4. Using a 17 mm wrench, unscrew the oil drain plug on the engine oil pan.

5. Drain the oil from the engine.
6. After waiting for the oil to completely drain from the engine oil pan, tighten the drain plug.
7. Using a puller, loosen the oil filter.
We unscrew the oil filter by hand.
8. Wipe the mating surface of the oil filter on the cylinder block with a clean rag.
Recommendation: Before installing a new oil filter, fill it with oil to 2/3 of its volume.
9. Apply clean engine oil to the rubber sealing ring of the oil filter and screw it into place.
10. Tighten the oil filter using only hand force.
11. Pour oil into the engine through a funnel, checking its level using the dipstick ("Checking the engine oil level").
