Comment. The sensor contacts must be closed if there is less than one liter of washer fluid left in the reservoir. If the corresponding signaling device in the display unit of the on-board control system does not light up, then the terminals in the block itself may have oxidized, there is a break in the wire, or the sensor is faulty. To verify the integrity of the sensor wires, it is enough to close the terminals of the connecting block. If the wires are good, then the indicator should light up. The defective sensor must be replaced.
Removing
1. We prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Disconnect the wiring harness block from the sensor.
3. Unscrew the windshield washer reservoir cap. Remove the sensor from the tank. The defective sensor is replaced as an assembly.
Installation
Install the new sensor in reverse order.
