Note. The sensor contacts should be closed if there is less than one liter of washer fluid left in the reservoir. If the corresponding indicator in the on-board control system indicator unit does not light up, then the terminals in the block itself may have oxidized, there is a break in the wire, or the sensor is faulty. To ensure the integrity of the sensor wires, it is enough to short-circuit the terminals of the connecting block. If the wires are in good condition, the indicator should light up. The faulty sensor should be replaced.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the sensor.

3. Unscrew the windshield washer reservoir cap. Remove the sensor from the reservoir. Replace the faulty sensor as a whole.

Installation
We install the new sensor in the reverse order.
