The VAZ-21219 differs from the VAZ-2121 mainly by the installation of the 21213 engine. Therefore, there are some peculiarities in the repair of individual engine units and systems, as well as the ignition system and the carburetor electromagnetic valve control system.
The clutch is equipped with a driven disk 21213.
A five-speed gearbox is used. The features of its design and repair are described in section III.
The cardan transmission from the gearbox to the transfer case is used with a constant velocity joint.
