- turn the gearbox housing upside down and, holding the stopper 1 (pic. 87) flange 3 of the drive gear, unscrew the flange fastening nut with a key 2;
- remove the flange and take out the drive gear with adjusting rings 31 (see fig. 79), the inner ring of the rear bearing and with the spacer sleeve 30, and then take out the oil seal 24, the mud deflector and the inner ring of the front bearing 29;
- press out the outer rings of the front and rear bearings with a mandrel A.70198 (pic. 88), remove the spacer sleeve from the gear and with the help of a universal puller А.40005/1/7 (5 - fig. 89) and mandrels 1 (A.45008) remove the inner ring 2 of the rear bearing and the adjusting ring of the drive gear 4.
When disassembling the differential:
- remove inner rings (pic. 90) differential box 4 bearings, using a universal puller 2 (А.40005/1/6) and emphasis 1 (A.45028), having a thrust collar diameter of 32 mm;
- unscrew the fastening bolts of the driven gear, knock out the axis of the satellites, turn the gears of the axle shafts and satellites so that the latter can be removed through the windows of the differential box;
- remove the gears of the axle shafts with the support washers.
