- turn the gearbox housing upside down and, holding the flange 3 of the drive gear with stopper 1 (Fig. 87), unscrew the flange fastening nut with key 2;
- remove the flange and take out the drive gear with adjusting rings 31 (see fig. 79), the inner ring of the rear bearing and with the spacer sleeve 30, and then remove the oil seal 24, the mud deflector and the inner ring of the front bearing 29;
- press out the outer rings of the front and rear bearings using mandrel A.70198 (Fig. 88), remove the spacer sleeve from the gear and, using universal puller A.40005/1/7 (5 - Fig. 89) and mandrel 1 (A.45008), remove the inner ring 2 of the rear bearing and the adjusting ring of the drive gear 4.

When disassembling the differential:
- remove the inner rings (Fig. 90) of the differential box bearings 4 using a universal puller 2 (A.40005/1/6) and stop 1 (A.45028), having a stop belt diameter of 32 mm;
- unscrew the bolts securing the driven gear, knock out the satellite axle, turn the axle shaft gears and satellites so that the latter can be removed through the differential box windows;
- remove the axle shaft gears with support washers.
