The fuel level necessary for the normal operation of the carburetor is ensured by the correct installation of serviceable elements of the carburetor locking device and by bending the float tongue.
To check the fuel level, remove the cover 5 (pic. 69) carburetor, set it up with the needle valve 4 and measure the protrusion of the needle valve above the cover, which should be 10 mm. Replace the needle valve if necessary. Then check the dimensions of 23.1 mm and 2.0 mm of the float (see fig. 69). If necessary, bend the lever or float tongue 2 and repeat the dimensional check.
When properly installed, the fuel level should be at a distance of 22-24 mm from the carburetor cover gasket.
