The electrical circuit of the VAZ-2102 car differs from the circuit of the VAZ-2101 car only in a modified rear wiring harness (see subsection 11.1.1).
Lighting and signaling
Rear lights and license plate light of a different design. The trunk light has been replaced with a ceiling lamp.

Doors

The car has four side doors and a tailgate. The tailgate is single-leaf, with upper hinges and fixed glass. The outer handle of the tailgate is equipped with a lock with a key for unlocking the door from the outside. The dimensions of the openings of the rear side doors differ (see fig. Reference linear dimensions of doorways).
Seats
Rear seat of a different design. The rear seat cushion and backrest recline to increase luggage space. The cushion in the reclined position protects the front seat and increases luggage space. The backrest, set in a horizontal position, serves as a supporting surface.
Spare wheel and driver's tool

The spare wheel and the driver's tool are placed in a compartment under the cargo area of the trunk. To remove the spare wheel, roll up the mat and unscrew the thumbscrew securing the wheel to the bottom of the compartment.
