- loosen the front wheel mounting bolts, remove the hub cap and unscrew the wheel hub mounting nut on the outer joint housing;
- they lift the front of the car and remove the front wheel;
- disconnect the ball joint of the suspension arm from the steering knuckle by unscrewing the bolts that secure it;
- moving the telescopic strut of the front suspension to the side, remove the splined tail of the outer joint from the hub;
- drain oil from gearbox;
- using impact puller 67.7801.9524 or a hammer through a punch, knock out the inner joint housing from the hole in the axle gear;
- remove the wheel drive.
After disconnecting the shafts from the gearbox, it is necessary to secure the axle gears with a mandrel or a technological plug so that they do not fall into the gearbox housing.
The installation of the wheel drive is carried out in the reverse order. In this case, it is necessary to replace the retaining ring 13 of the inner joint housing to prevent spontaneous disconnection of the wheel drive and the axle gear. If it is necessary to replace the axle shaft seal, use the mandrel 67.7853.9562 (diameter 56 mm). After installing the wheel drive, pour engine oil into the gearbox.
