Fuel lines are made of leaded or galvanized steel tubes. The tubes are connected to the fuel pump, to the tank and to each other by rubber hoses in a fabric braid and fastened with screw clamps. The fuel pump is connected to the carburetor with a rubber hose.
Fuel supply line 8 (see fig. 39) has a diameter of 8 mm, drain 7 has a diameter of 6 mm. A non-separable small-sized non-return valve is installed on the drain pipeline hoses. The required direction of fuel flow is indicated by an arrow on the valve body.
The fuel lines are fastened to the body with plastic brackets, which are mounted on bolts welded to the body. Exclusion of holes for fastening fuel lines increases the corrosion resistance of the body at the fastening points.
In front of the fuel pump, a fine fuel filter 1 is installed on rubber hoses, which is attached to the hoses with screw clamps. Non-separable design filter with a paper filter element in a plastic housing. The plastic case with a cover is welded by ultrasonic welding or high-frequency currents. The fineness of fuel purification provided by the filter element is up to 15 microns.
