Rear Timing Belt Cover — Removal and Installation (VAZ-2110)

Removal

1. Remove the camshaft pulleys (see "Camshaft pulleys - removal, installation, replacement").

2. Remove the tension and guide rollers (see "Timing Belt Tensioner and Guide Rollers - Removal and Installation").

3. Using a 10 mm socket wrench, unscrew the six bolts securing the rear cover of the timing mechanism.

4. Remove the rear cover of the timing mechanism.

Installation

We install the rear timing belt cover and other removed parts on the car in the reverse order.
