Removal
1. Remove the timing belt (see "Timing belt - removal, installation, replacement").
2. Remove the toothed pulley from the crankshaft.
3. To avoid losing the key, remove it from its seat in the crankshaft.
Installation
1. Insert the key into the groove of the crankshaft.

2. Carefully install the toothed pulley onto the crankshaft, ensuring that the key fits into the pulley slot.
3. Install the timing belt on the vehicle in the reverse order of removal and adjust its tension (see "Timing belt - checking condition and adjusting belt tension").
