Fuel module of the gasoline pump of the engine 2112 (1.5i) — cleaning the mesh filter (VAZ-2110)

Recommendation: One of the reasons for low fuel pressure in the fuel rail may be a dirty mesh filter.

Removal

1. Remove the fuel module (see "Fuel module of the gasoline pump of the engine 2112 (1.5i) - removal, installation, replacement").

2. Use a thin-bladed screwdriver to pry the fuel pump strainer (for more information, see points 3 and 4 "Fuel module of the fuel pump of the engine 21124 (1.6i) - replacement of the fuel pump").



3. Remove the mesh filter.



4. Remove dirt deposits from the fuel module intake chamber and wash the housing in nitro paint solvent.

5. Wash the mesh filter in nitro paint solvent and blow it out with compressed air (from a compressor or foot pump).

Recommendation: If the mesh filter is very dirty and cannot be cleaned, replace it.

Installation
