Fuel module of the fuel pump of the engine 21124 (1.6i) — replacement of the fuel pressure regulator (VAZ-2110)

Recommendation: You can check the operation of the fuel pressure regulator without removing it from the car (see "Fuel rail - checking operating pressure"). If you suspect that the pressure regulator is faulty, it must be replaced.

Removal

1. Remove the fuel module of the fuel pump (see "Fuel module of the gasoline pump of the engine 21124 (1.6i) - removal, installation, replacement").

2. Lift the fuel module cover of the fuel pump and disconnect the wire tip from the fuel pressure regulator (see points 3 and 4

"Fuel module of the fuel pump of the engine 21124 (1.6i) - replacement of the fuel level indicator sensor").

3. Using a slotted screwdriver, pry up and remove the spring retainer of the fuel pressure regulator.

4. Remove the fuel pressure regulator from the fuel pump fuel module cover.

Installation

We install a new fuel pressure regulator and all removed parts on the car in the reverse order, having first applied a thin layer of motor oil to the sealing rings.
