Removal
1. We are preparing the vehicle for repair work (see point 2 "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").
2. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the three screws securing the right instrument panel console trim and remove the trim.

3. Using a 10 mm socket wrench, loosen the two nuts securing the electronic control unit.

4. By moving it forward, we remove the plastic bracket of the ECU from engagement with the studs of the bracket of the electronic units and remove the ECU from under the console.

5. Having released the retainer, the wiring harness connectors, we disconnect the connector from the electronic control unit.

6. Using a 10 mm socket wrench, unscrew the four bolts securing the control unit to the bracket.

7. Remove the electronic unit from the bracket from the car.
8. A faulty electronic control unit must be replaced.
Installation
We install the electronic unit and all removed parts on the car in the reverse order of removal.
