Front wing — removal and installation (VAZ-2112)

Removal

1. Remove the front fender liner (see "Front fender liner - removal and installation").

2. Remove the front bumper (see above "Front bumper - removal and installation").

3. Remove the decorative door sill cover (see above "Threshold trim - removal and installation").

4. With a socket wrench by 8 mm we turn away:

a) self-tapping screw for the lower wing mount;



b) two self-tapping screws for the rear wing mount;



c) front wing mounting screw;



d) four self-tapping screws for the upper wing mount.





5. Carefully, trying not to damage the headlight, remove the wing (first, we move the wing away from the body from the rear, remove the socket with the bulb from the side turn signal, and then remove it from engagement with the headlight diffuser).

Installation

We install the front wing in the reverse order.

Advice: After installing the wing (before installing the mudguard) treat the wing, especially the rear part, with an anti-corrosion coating.
