Removal
1. Remove the engine splash guard (see "Engine Mudguard - Removal and Installation").
2. Unscrew the nuts securing the struts to the crossmember and remove the thrust washers (see "Longitudinal suspension strut - removal and installation").
3. With a socket wrench by 19 mm with an extension we unscrew four bolts (two on each side) fastening the cross member brackets to the body side members.

4. With a socket wrench by 13 mm with an extension we unscrew two bolts (one on each side) fastening the front crossbar brackets and remove the crossbar from the front ends of the longitudinal stretchers.

Installation
We install the crossbar in the reverse order.
Recommendation. Perform final tightening of the longitudinal strut mounting nuts only after the vehicle has been installed on its wheels. After replacing the crossmember, it is necessary to adjust the wheel alignment angles.
