The connecting rod and piston group with a floating pin is installed for engines 2112, 21124, 21114 and some engines 2111.
To complete the work you will need a soft metal rod with a diameter of 21 mm.
Disassembly
1. Remove the piston rings from the piston (see "Piston rings and connecting rod bearings - replacement").

2. Using an awl, pry up and remove the piston pin retaining rings from the grooves.
3. Using a soft metal rod of suitable diameter, push out the piston pin.
4. Remove the piston from the connecting rod.
Assembly
1. Assemble the piston with the connecting rod in the reverse order. After assembling the connecting rod with the piston, the cylinder number on the connecting rod and its cover should be on the right side of the piston when looking at the arrow stamped on it. When installing the piston in the cylinder, the connecting rod with the cylinder number should be facing the side of the block on which the lug for installing the oil filter is located, and the catalog number should be facing the front end of the crankshaft.
2. Put the rings on the piston and install the piston into the cylinder (see "Piston rings and connecting rod bearings - replacement").
