- metal pipelines should not have nicks, scratches, rubbing, active centers of corrosion and should be located away from sharp edges that can damage them;
- brake hoses must not have cracks visible to the naked eye on the outer sheath and traces of chafing, they should not be exposed to mineral oils and greases that destroy the rubber sheaths of the hose. By strongly depressing the brake pedal is checked. whether there will be swelling on the hoses, indicating their destruction;
- All pipe clamps must be intact and well tightened. Loose fastening or destruction of the brackets leads to vibration of the pipelines, causing them to break;
- no leakage of fluid from the hose and tube connections is allowed, if necessary, replace the hose clamps and tighten the nuts without exposing the pipelines to deformation. When tightening the pipe nuts, use the wrench 67.7812.9525 (the head of the key has a slot for the pipeline and a five-sided socket).
Detected malfunctions are eliminated by replacing damaged parts with new ones. Flexible hoses, regardless of their condition, are replaced with new ones after 125 thousand kilometers or after 5 years of vehicle operation in order to prevent sudden ruptures due to aging.
