If there are scuffs, deep scratches, etc. on the working surface of the disc, which increase the wear of the pads and reduce the braking efficiency, replace the disc.
In specialized workshops, such a disc can be machined and polished, but after processing, the thickness of the disc must be at least the minimum allowable. The groove is carried out on both sides of the disk to the same depth.
You will need: keys «at 17», «at 12», screwdriver.
1. Remove the corresponding wheel.
2. Turn out two bolts of fastening of directing blocks to a rotary fist and remove the brake mechanism in gathering, without disconnecting a brake hose from the working cylinder.
3. Hang the brake mechanism on a rope or wire from the front suspension spring. Make sure the brake hose is not kinked.
4. Clean the brake disc from dirt. Apply WD-40 to the disc/hub connections and drive pins. Wait a bit, let the rust dissolve.
5. Turn out two directing pins and remove a brake disk.
Notes: If necessary, tap the disc with a rubber or plastic mallet.
Blows should be applied as close as possible to the center of the brake disc.
6. Install the brake disc in reverse order. If an old disk is being installed, remove the shoulders on both sides of it with a file, resulting from the wear of the disk.
