Before starting work: Clean the caliper of dirt.
1. Remove the edge of the protective cap from the cylinder groove.
2. Turning the cap inside out, remove it from the piston.
3. Install wood spacer (not to damage the piston), supply compressed air to the cylinder through the fluid port. The piston will come out of the cylinder.
4. Remove the wooden spacer and remove the piston.
5. Carefully, so as not to damage the cylinder mirror, remove the sealing ring.
6. If necessary, unscrew the air release valve.
7. Remove the o-ring from the valve.
8. Thoroughly remove dirt and flush all parts of the wheel cylinder with clean brake fluid.
9. Examine the mirror of the cylinder. If there are deep scratches, scratches, roughness, etc. replace the cylinder.
10. Inspect the cylinder piston. If there are deep scratches, scratches, roughness, etc. replace piston.
11. Regardless of the condition of the O-ring, replace it with a new one.
12. Replace a cracked, torn or loose cylinder cap. The manufacturer recommends replacing it after removal regardless of condition.
13. Replace a cracked, torn, or loose valve o-ring, or a valve with damaged threads.
14. Assemble the cylinder in the reverse order of disassembly, lubricating all parts with brake fluid. Before installing the piston, put a protective cap on it by inserting its edge into the groove of the piston.
15. After installing the piston in the cylinder, carefully tuck the outer edge of the cap into the groove of the cylinder.
