- key "10"
- new filter element
- clean rags
Attention! The filter element must be replaced every 15,000 km. When driving on dirt and country roads, the filter element becomes clogged faster. The need to replace it may be indicated by a decrease in engine power. In this case, inspect the filter element and replace it if it is heavily contaminated, warped or damaged.

This filter element needs to be replaced.

1. Open the hood. Unscrew the filter cover fastening nut and remove the washer.

2. Please note that the nut has a serrated collar.
The original can be viewed on the portal: VazBook

3. Unfasten the four spring clips.

4. Remove the air filter cover and...

5....set it aside without disconnecting the crankcase ventilation hose from the fitting on the cover.

6. Remove the filter element from the housing.

7. Plug the carburetor neck with a clean rag.

8. Wipe the inside of the filter housing and the inside surface of the cover with a clean damp cloth.
