For disassembly, the puller compresses the toothed pulley 9 with a puller (see fig. 8) pump. The locking screw 1 is unscrewed and the shaft 5 is pressed out, complete with the impeller 4, the bearing 8 and the stuffing box. Take off the seal. If necessary, press the impeller.
When assembling the pump with the help of a mandrel, the stuffing box is installed without distortions in the pump housing. The roller with the bearing is pressed in so that the seat of the locking screw 1 coincides with the hole in the pump casing. The bearing lock screw is screwed in and the contours of the socket are caulked to prevent loosening of the screw. Then the impeller 4 and the toothed pulley 9 are pressed in, keeping the dimensions 52±0.5 mm and 49.8-0,2 mm indicated on rice. 8. Before pressing the pulley, it is heated to 150-200°C. After cooling the pulley, the pump is attached to the impeller and the reliability of the pulley connection on the roller is checked by applying a moment of 2.5 kgf-m to the pulley. The pulley must not rotate.
