The removal operations are performed on a cold engine. Open the heater tap and remove the plug from the expansion tank. Unscrew the drain plugs of the radiator and cylinder block, drain the coolant. Disconnect the electrical wires from the electric fan and its sensor, as well as the hoses from the radiator.
Unscrew the nuts and bolts securing the fan casing and the upper radiator mount bracket, remove the bracket and, holding the radiator, remove the casing together with the electric fan. Move the top of the radiator slightly toward the engine compartment and remove it from the lower support cushions and from the engine compartment.
If necessary, unscrew the mounting nuts and remove the electric fan from the casing.
