- check the oil level in the crankcase, top up if necessary.
After the first 2000 km of a new car, you must:
- check the tightness of the connections;
- change the oil in the crankcase;
- replace oil filter.
Every 15,000 km of run it is necessary:
- check the tightness of the connections;
- change the oil in the crankcase;
- replace oil filter.
Every 45,000 km, clean and flush the parts of the engine ventilation system.
Checking the oil level and seal tightness
Check the oil level on a cold idle engine. The level must be between the risks «MIN» and «MAX» on the oil level gauge. If necessary, add fresh oil through the filler neck on the cylinder head cover.
Check the tightness of the joints and seals of the crankshaft visually for the presence of oil leaks.
Changing the oil and oil filter
Replace with a warm engine. To do this, unscrew the drain plug and drain the oil into a container. Hold for 10 minutes until all the oil has drained.
Remove the oil filter, install a new one and fill the system with 3.5 liters of fresh engine oil corresponding to the operating season. Wrap the new filter only by hand, having previously lubricated the sealing ring with engine oil.
Summer or winter engine oil in the engine must also be changed to the oil corresponding to this season when switching to another season of operation.
It is allowed to use engine oil M-6 in the engine3/10G1, but with its periodic replacement every 7500 km of the car.
Flushing parts of the crankcase ventilation system
Remove hoses 2, 5 and 9 for cleaning and flushing (see fig. 38), unscrew the nuts securing the cover 7 of the cylinder head. Unscrew the two bolts securing the body 8 of the oil deflector, remove the body and mesh 6. Rinse the removed parts with gasoline.
At the carburetor, clean and rinse with acetone or gasoline fitting 2 for supplying crankcase gases.
