There are three operating modes of the cleaner: 1st and 2nd modes - constant (but with different brush speeds), 3rd mode - with intermittent movement of brushes.
The wiper motor is a permanent magnet-excited, three-brush, two-speed motor. To protect the motor from overloads when the brushes freeze to the glass, when there is high resistance to their movement, or when the wiper mechanism jams, a reusable thermal bimetallic fuse is installed on the wiper drive bracket.
The intermittent operation mode of the cleaner is provided by an electronic relay of type 525.3747, installed in the mounting block.

A wiper is installed on the tailgate together with the electromagnetic valves of the washer. Wiring diagram of the tailgate glass wiper:

The rear window wiper consists of a gear motor, a lever and a brush. The lever with the brush is laid to the right in the direction of the vehicle's movement. A thermal bimetallic fuse is installed in the wiper's gear motor to protect against overloads.
The wiper is activated by the right steering column switch. When the switch is pressed, voltage is supplied to the washer pump electric motor and to the electromagnetic valve of the rear window washer.
Helpful Hint: Over time, the wiper blade inserts lose their elasticity due to the aging of the rubber, so the blades do not fit tightly to the glass, leaving uncleaned areas during operation.
Temporarily, until you buy new brushes, you can try to restore the functionality of the old ones. Dip them in clean gasoline for a minute, and then rinse thoroughly with soap and water.
Often after this the brushes become like new again.
